PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a passenger from misrecognizing a surrounding situation of a vehicle since cameras photograph a regular image of the surroundings of the vehicle. SOLUTION: A surrounding situation indication device for the vehicle indicates an image photographed by a plurality of cameras 3 installed in the vehicle by converting the image into an overhead image of the surroundings of the vehicle including the vehicle with an image processing of view point conversion. When a door mirror sensor 6 for detecting whether or not a door mirror in which the cameras 3 are installed is operated and the surrounding situation indication device for the vehicle is operated, and the door mirror is stored according to a detection result of the door mirror sensor 6, the door mirror is forcibly opened under control of a door mirror control controller 7.
