ENHANCEMENT OF EFFECTIVENESS OF 5-FLUOROURACIL IN TREATMENT OF TUMOR METASTASIS AND CANCER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance effectiveness of 5-fluorouracil in treatment of tumor metastases and cancers. SOLUTION: A methylol transfer agent such as taurolidine or taurultam is found to substantially enhance or increase antitumor effects of 5-fluorouracil (5-FU) in a combined treating agent for inhibiting tumor metastasis and for treating a cancer for a patient.
