PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a faujasite type zeolite to which a transition metal, zinc or tin is added and which has excellent durability to the repetition of drying and wetting, to provide a member for dehumidification using the same, and to provide a method for producing the zeolite. SOLUTION: In the faujasite type zeolite, the total content of one or more kinds of metals selected from among transition metals, zinc and tin is≥5% expressed in terms of oxide, and the total content of one or more kinds of metals selected from among alkali metals, alkaline earth metals and magnesium is 1-10%. The reduction rate of the specific surface area of the zeolite by a cyclic wetting and drying test is≤15%. COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
