<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inductive load drive circuit for reducing power consumption in normal time, and suitably preventing occurrence of large current in battery reverse connection. <P>SOLUTION: The inductive load drive circuit 10 has: a switch circuit 12 provided between a battery Ba and an inductive load M; a control circuit 11 for controlling changeover operation of the switch circuit 12; and a protection circuit 13 connected with the inductive load M in parallel. The switch circuit 12 changes over between electricity carriage and electricity non-carriage to the inductive load M when the battery Ba is normally connected, and allows electricity carriage in a direction reverse to the case of the normal connection of the battery when the battery is reversely connected. The protection circuit 13 has a current cutoff part Q1 conducted at least in the changeover from the electricity carriage to the electricity non-carriage by the switch circuit 12 in the normal connection of the battery, and not conducted according to the reverse connection of the battery in the reverse connection of the battery. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
