<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a front cover for a vehicle lighting device and a method for manufacturing the same that allow a substantially transparent surface heat-generating film to be formed on the curved surface, achieve improvement in heat-generation uniformity and the elimination of the risk of migration, and also, allow a transparent heat-generating part to be inexpensively provided at a molded product with a curved surface. <P>SOLUTION: The front cover 10 for a vehicle lighting device is assembled to a front opening of a vehicle lighting device 16 having a lamp body 12 and a light source 14 provided in the lamp body 12. In the front cover, a heat-generating body 20 is provided in a partial almost-rectangular region of the surface facing the light source 14. When an electric resistance value (an initial value) before extending the heat-generating body 20 is set as R0 and an electric resistance value when the heat-generating body 20 is extended by 5% as Ra, the heat-generating body 20 maintains Ra≤(2×R0). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
