<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and a composition for diagnosis and treatment of cardiovascular conditions. <P>SOLUTION: The method for diagnosing cardiovascular conditions, characterized by aberrant expression of a nucleic acid molecule or an expression product thereof, includes (a) a step of bringing a biological sample obtained from a subject into contact with an agent which specifically binds to the nucleic acid molecule, an expression product thereof, or a fragment of the expression product; and (b) a step of measuring the amount of the bound agent, and determining therefrom whether the expression of the nucleic acid molecule or of the expression product is aberrant, the aberrant expression being diagnostic of the disorder.
