<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a botanical mat for transplantation, enabling the transportation of the botanical mat in which a plant grows without blighting the plant, and preventing the plant from blighting even if the watering after the transplantation is insufficient, and to provide the botanical mat usable as decoration by being stood. <P>SOLUTION: The botanical mat for transplantation or decoration is obtained by integrating a plurality of roots of the plant with a gel layer of a water-absorbing resin shown below by entanglement thereof. The water-absorbing resin provides a water-absorbed body having a 0-2.0 mS/cm electroconductivity when the water-absorbing resin of 1 pt.wt. absorbs ion-exchanged water of 100 pts.wt. at 25°C, and has 80-1,000 times the absorption capacity of ion-exchanged water at 25°C. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
