<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drive device of long life and miniaturization, which supplies electric power to a load such as LED. <P>SOLUTION: A drive device 101 includes a primary side rectifier circuit BD1 which rectifies a received AC voltage, a first capacitor C1 which smoothes the rectified voltage, a switching element Q1 which is connected to a primary coil L1 of a transformer T1 and converts the smoothed voltage to an AC voltage by switching between on and off for supplying it to the primary coil L1, a secondary side rectifying and smoothing circuit 24 which rectifies and smoothes the AC voltage induced at a secondary coil L2 of the transformer T1 and outputs it to loads 11-13, a switching control circuit 22 which turns on/off the switching element Q1 by supplying a drive voltage to a control electrode of the switching element Q1, and a bias circuit 21 which supplies a bias voltage to the control electrode of the switching element Q1 based on the voltage induced at the primary coil L1. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
