<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To propose session management technology effective even when redundant request sessions overlap. Ž<P>SOLUTION: This computer system includes: a plurality of application servers each processing the request transmitted from a client; a proxy device receiving the request, and transmitting it to the application servers; and a session management device managing the request. The proxy device duplicates the received request, and transmits it to each application server. Each application server transmits a processing result of the request to the proxy device, and notifies the session management device about session information including an identifier of the application server and an identifier of the request. The proxy device determines the processing result responding to the client, and notifies the session management device about the identifier of the request and the identifier of the application server having transmitted the determined processing result.
