<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a therapeutic agent for hyperlipemia, selectively inhibiting MTP (microsomal triglyceride transfer protein) in the small intestine, essentially free from actions on the MTP of the liver and causing no side effects such as a fatty liver. Ž<P>SOLUTION: There are provided an ester compound represented by general formula (1') or its pharmaceutically allowable salt. In the formula, R<SP>2'</SP>and R<SP>2"</SP>are each a hydrogen atom or the like; X<SB>1</SB>is -O- or -NR<SP>10</SP>- (wherein R<SP>10</SP>is a hydrogen atom, 1-6C alkyl or the like); R<SP>1</SP>, R<SP>3</SP>, R<SP>4</SP>, R<SP>5</SP>, R<SP>6</SP>and R<SP>7</SP>are each a hydrogen atom or the like; R<SP>8</SP>and R<SP>9</SP>are each a hydrogen atom, 2-12C alkoxyalkyl or the like; ring C is 6-14C aryl or the like; and l and m are each an integer of 0-3.
