<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid jet head module improved in assembling accuracy in assembling a plurality of liquid jet heads into a module, and to provide a method for manufacturing the liquid jet head module. Ž<P>SOLUTION: A unit head 11 is provided with positioning pieces 38a and 38b in which a positioning hole 41 and a plurality of reference marks 44a and 44b are formed and the positioning pieces are fixed to the unit head in such a state that alignment is performed so that relative positions of the respective reference marks with respect to the reference nozzle openings 30a and 30b of the unit head are prescribed positions.
