<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently mass-produce high quality nano-carbon high in purity and stability at a low cost. Ž<P>SOLUTION: A nano-carbon production furnace has a heating furnace container 11 of a reduction atmosphere, a heating source arranged on the periphery of the heating furnace container, a hydrocarbon injection nozzle 15 which is arranged on the upstream side of the heating furnace container and sprays hydrocarbons into the heating furnace container, and a produced nano-carbon discharge nozzle 18 which is arranged on the downstream side of the heating furnace container. A metal substrate 12 is arranged on the inner surface of the heating furnace container. By spraying the hydrocarbons continuously from the hydrocarbon injection nozzle 15, the hydrocarbons are reacted on the metal substrate to develop the nano-carbon 17.
