<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a bolt from rotating when a bolt head closely interfit into a housing section arranged in a fixed member is fixed by screwing a nut to a screw shaft section projected from the head. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The bolt rotation preventing structure, wherein: the head 22 of a bolt 21 is profiled in a polygon or an ellipse; a rotation preventing projection 26 is arranged in the tip surface 24 of the head 22 and/or in a part of a peripheral surface 25; a positioning concave 19 interfitting the rotation preventing projection 26 is arranged in the inner surface 17 of a housing section 16; and the bolt 21 is prevented from rotating when a nut 28 is screwed to a screw shaft section 23 by internally interfitting the head 22 of the bolt 21 into the housing section 16.
