PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce cost by reduction in the number of parts, and to avoid chattering by preventing electrical connection between contacts by grease. SOLUTION: A chattering prevention apparatus of a wiper motor is provided with a chattering prevention means, which brings a first contact terminal plate 15A in continuity with a second contact terminal plate 15B by moving a second contact 17 of the second contact terminal plate 15B provided on the inside surface 9a of a cover, which is in a contact state with a second metal conductor 14B formed on a surface 7a of a gear part 5, to the position where an annular first metal conductor 14A, which makes continuity with the second metal conductor 15B, is provided on the surface 7a of the same gear part 5 when the wiper motor rotates reversely after stopping.
