<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a composition which has reducing property of an alkali metal ion and/or alkaline earth metal and reactivity as a catalyst, and which imparts various functions such as reducing property, fire-resistant property, corrosion resistance or insulating property to a substance by being mixed therewith. <P>SOLUTION: The composition is obtained by drying and removing an alcohol from an alcohol solution containing at least one of metal alkoxide selected from an alkoxide of a metal of group 4A of the periodic table, an alkoxide of a metal (except carbon) of group 4B of the periodic table, an alkoxide of a metal of group 3A of the periodic table, an alkoxide of a metal of group 3B of the periodic table, and partial hydrolyzates thereof, an alkali compound of an alkali metal and/or an alkali compound of an alkaline earth metal. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
