<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce occurrence of flooding caused by the case where a transmission destination address is not stored, in a switching device constituting a frame switching network, storing an address entry representing a correspondence relationship between an address and an output port outputting a frame using the address as a transmission destination, and executing a flooding process of a frame using an address without storing the address entry as a transmission destination. <P>SOLUTION: This switching device 1 includes: a flooding determination part 31 determining whether occurrence of flooding to a certain address satisfies a predetermined condition; a notification reception part 33 receiving predetermined notification transmitted from another switch with an address entry of an address identical to the address satisfying the condition stored therein; and an address entry registration part 35 registering an address entry for making the address satisfying the condition correspond to a port having received the notification. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
