<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a non-contact connector that carries out multichannel analog communication without taking backlash and the like into consideration while securing the continuity of high speed communication. <P>SOLUTION: By allowing not only the light-emitting side focal point F1 (3) of a three-dimensional elliptical reflecting body A (500) to be on the side of a rotating body (1) but also the light-receiving side focal point F2 (5) to be on the side of a fixed body (2), a light collecting behavior from F1 (3) to F2 (5) is used to configure an optical path from a rotating-side light-emitting element A (13) set at F1 (3) to a fixed-side light-receiving element A (24) set at F2 (5) through a fixed-side partially elliptical mirror (8) where a portion of the three-dimensional elliptical body is used as a mirror face, and to configure a simultaneous bidirectional single-channel optical path from a fixed-side light-emitting element A (23) set at F1 (3) of a three-dimensional elliptical reflecting body B (501) to a rotating side light-receiving element A (14) set at F2 (5) through a rotating side partially elliptical mirror (6) where a portion of the three-dimensional elliptical reflecting body B (501) is used as a mirror surface. This results in configuring a plurality of simultaneous bidirectional single-channel optical paths between a rotating body (1) and fixed body (2) and carrying out simultaneous bidirectional multichannel optical communication by a non-contact method. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
