<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To precisely determine a transmission factor of light transmitted through a detected measurement object, by removing effects of fluctuations in light intensity and unevenness in brightness of a light source while using a simple configuration. <P>SOLUTION: An apparatus is provided which includes: a surface light source 3 for emitting light to an area ranging from one end to the other end of a sheet material 9, along the width direction of the sheet material 9; a detection-use image capturing unit 1 which is disposed on a position enabling the emitted light from the surface light source 3 to be received through the sheet material 9, and detects the light transmitted through the sheet material 9; and a correction-use image capturing unit 2 which is disposed on a position enabling the emitted light from the surface light source 3 to be detected without using any path through the sheet material 9, and measures the light intensity of an emission plane 4 of the surface light source 3. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
