摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging device capable of providing a picked-up image taking on a tinge generally equivalent to that of a picked-up image by reference light having a flat color distribution even when the color distribution of illumination light is biased; and an endoscope system including the same. Ž<P>SOLUTION: This imaging device includes: an LED unit 23 emitting observation light 24 illuminating an observation part 10; an imaging element 13 imaging the observation part 10 illuminated by the observation light 24; a compensation coefficient recording part 33 for storing a compensation coefficient for approximating the color distribution of first image information acquired by the imaging element 13 by illuminating the observation part with the observation light 24 to the color distribution of second image information acquired by the imaging element 13 by illuminating the observation object with reference light 22 having a flat color distribution; an image signal processing part 37 compensating the color distribution of the first image information by using the compensation coefficient stored in the compensation coefficient recording part 33; and a display monitor 41 displaying the first image information compensated by the image signal processing part 37.
