PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To uniformize communication performance in each auxiliary transmission path, and to improve a diversity effect. SOLUTION: The transmission device with an orthogonal frequency division multiplexing method applied thereto includes a means to add signal arrangement rotation to a transmission signal, and a means to carry out an inverse Fourier transform process to the transmission signal with the signal arrangement rotation added thereto. The means to add the signal arrangement rotation uniformizes communication performance of each auxiliary communication path, and thereafter adds the signal arrangement rotation to the transmission signal based on the angle of rotation determined based on the number of information symbols and the modulation method of the transmission signal.
