<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a material which sufficiently meets various properties, e.g. waterproof property, electrical insulating property, work environment property, productivity, durability, resistance to fuel, as polyester resin or a resin composition for molding for an electric and electronic part having a complicated shape. Ž<P>SOLUTION: In the polyester resin for molding, the resin composition, and a molded article using thereof, aromatic ring content is ≥1,500 equivalents/ton. In a saturated polyester resin for molding, the resin composition, and a molded article using thereof, melt viscosity at 200°C is preferably 5 to 1,000 dPa s, and a product a×b is ≥500 when a tensile strength at break of a film-like molded article is a (N/mm<SP>2</SP>) and a tensile elongation at break is b (%).
