<p>A system and method for reducing global warming. The system can include a container having a body portion for retaining a quantity of alkaline metal hydroxide and collecting a precipitate. At least one inlet on the container can be utilized for introducing a volume of air containing CO2 into the alkaline metal hydroxide, so that the CO2 in the volume of air can react with the alkaline metal hydroxide to reduce the amount of CO2 in the volume of air and to form a precipitate in the body portion of the container. At least one outlet on the container can be included for releasing the volume of air having reduced Co2 content into the atmosphere. A pump can be included for injecting the volume of air containing CO2 into the alkaline metal hydroxide under pressure.</p> |
