PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal display device capable of improving display quality.

SOLUTION: The liquid crystal display device comprises: a liquid crystal panel containing a plurality of gate lines; a plurality of stages which are respectively connected to the plurality of gate lines and supply the gate signals successively; and a gate driver containing a first dummy stage and a second dummy stage which are separated from each other, wherein the first dummy stage is enabled by a carry signal of one stage among the plurality of stages and the second dummy stage is enabled by a carry signal of the first dummy stage and, as the result, each of the plurality of stages is initialized.
