<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To miniaturize a capacitor discharge circuit and reduce cost thereof, while preventing residual charge voltages of a plurality of capacitors. <P>SOLUTION: When a control signal is applied to a gate of a first IGBT 34a to turn it on after a switch 12 is opened, the voltage of a first capacitor 13 is discharged by way of a route passing through a first discharge resistor 15 and the first IGBT 34a. When a control signal is applied to a gate of a second IGBT 34b to turn it on, the voltage of a second capacitor 14 is discharged by way of a route passing through the second IGBT 34b and the second discharge resistor 17. As a result, the voltages of both capacitors 13 and 14 are discharged to zero volt. As a result of control via the gates of the first IGBT 34a and the second IGBT 34b, the functions of a discharge switch and a chopper switch are achieved. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
