<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To secure operation reliability of a microcomputer of a torque control system and satisfy a cost reduction demand. <P>SOLUTION: In a microcomputer 13, a signal computing unit 16 computes a control signal for an accelerator opening, a throttle opening or the like, based on a sensor output signal, such as an output signal of an accelerator opening sensor 11, or an output signal of a throttle opening sensor 12. A torque control unit 17 executes a torque control operation to match actual torque to requested torque based on the control signal. Furthermore, a torque monitor unit 19 determines whether a torque increase abnormality exists based on the control signal. A signal abnormality diagnosis unit 20 determines whether an operational abnormality of the signal computing unit 16 exists based on a relationship between the sensor output signal and the control signal. A monitor IC 21 provided separately from the microcomputer 13 monitors operational states of the torque monitor unit 19 and of the signal abnormality diagnosis unit 20 and determines whether an operational abnormality of the torque monitor unit 19 or of the signal abnormality diagnosis unit 20 exists. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
