<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To authenticate documents to be exchanged without requiring processes such as encryption and signature using a public key cryptography in the side of a personal digital assistant in a communication system. <P>SOLUTION: Document data is formed in a format divided into a "document domain" indicating a document itself and an "attribute domain" indicating an attribute of the document. When the document is edited in a digital assistant 1 to change the contents in the "document domain", a CPU 11 in the digital assistant 1 reads a personal digital assistant identifying code PID from a ROM 12, enters this code in the "attribute domain" of the document data, and transmits the code to a communication terminal 2 via a communication part 17. A CPU 21 in the communication terminal 2 reads a communication terminal identifying code MID from a ROM 22, enters this code in the "attribute domain" in the document data, and then transmits the code to a management server 5. The management server 5 reads the identifying code from the "attribute domain" of this document data received from the communication terminal 2 and compares the code with a terminal registration table 541 of a memory 54 for authentication of the document data. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
