<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information processor for properly suppressing any undesired input to a touch position detection part. <P>SOLUTION: An image pickup up device (information processor) is configured to enable or disenable input of a touch panel (touch position detection part) installed in a back monitor having a liquid crystal panel and a backlight. In this image pickup device, when the power source or backlight of the back monitor is turned off (ST1 to ST2), an operation (ST4) to disable a touch panel input is performed, and when an operation input is made to an operation part in this state (ST3), an operation (ST6) to enable the touch panel input is performed.
