PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a resin composition which gives a molded body suitable for an automobile outer plate member. SOLUTION: The resin composition contains (A) a resin containing a polyamide resin, (B) a polymer having a maleimide-based monomer unit, and (C) reinforcing fibers, wherein the reinforcing fibers (C) are bundled in the longitudinal direction and combined by at least the components (A) and (B) to form a reinforcing fiber bundle, and the content of the maleimide-based monomer unit in the polymer having the maleimide-based monomer units of the component (B) is≥40 mass%.
