PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a metal-resin composite material for an electric/electronic component, which has extremely good processability with a press in punching, bending, and the like, exhibits high adhesiveness between a resin film and a metal substrate after subjected to heat treatment, plating treatment, or the like, and is excellent in chemical resistance, by increasing the adhesiveness between the resin film and the metal substrate. SOLUTION: The composite material for the electric/electronic component, wherein the resin film is formed at least on a part of the metal substrate, has a laminated structure of an interface region, existing in the interface between the resin film and the metal substrate, and a high density layer, and the thickness of the interface region is controlled to be >0 nm and≤80 nm.
