PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To avoid reduction in an operation speed of a hydraulic actuator, when a pump flow rate reduces in response to an increase in pump delivery pressure when a load increases, in a working machine having a variable displacement hydraulic pump driven by an engine. SOLUTION: While connecting a hydraulic motor 4 to the hydraulic pump 1 via a mechanical torque transmission mechanism 3. an accumulator 6 is connected to the suction side of the hydraulic motor 4, and is constituted so that torque generated in the hydraulic motor 4 by supply of hydraulic pressure from the accumulator 6 can be supplied to the hydraulic pump 1. This control system is provided with a control valve 11 for opening-closing a hydraulic pressure supply oil passage 7 to the hydraulic motor 4 from the accumulator 6 so that an opening quantity is freely adjusted, and a control part 12 for controlling the control valve 11 in response to the load.
