<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a material having a surface which includes an excellent resistance to environmental conditions and which can replace wood, and a method for forming the material. Ž<P>SOLUTION: It becomes possible to provide a material which includes an excellent strength, weatherability and so on by forming a layer comprised of a composition which contains a resin, a monomer, a filler, an accelerator, a catalyst and so on and which can be sprayed or poured, on the wood surface that is inferior in water resistance and so on.
