The cage of a rolling bearing, having concentric annular inner 11 and outer 12 races, is concentrically disposed between the races and has pockets within which aro retained rolling elements 15 which are in rolling engagement with the races, at least one portion of the radially inner surface of the cage being in contact with the inner race, the surface being provided with a plurality of discrete angularly spaced apart recesses 21 which communicate with the pockets for the supply of lubricant thereto. Preferably a recess is provided between each pair of adjacent pockets, and lands 22, 23 are provided between the pockets and the recesses at least one of the lands being provided with a lubricant passage 24 for conducting lubricant from the recess to the pocket. |
