A method for diagnosing the forms of the acute and chronic venous insufficiency of the lower limbs comprises the study of the expression of various types of collagen in the walls of the varicose veins. Furthermore, the thickness of the venous walls and its layers is assessed. Depending on the data obtained, the varicose, the thrombosis of the deep veins, or varicothrombophlebitis are diagnosed. |
