<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a smoke detector capable of making smoke detection sensitivity to be constant as much as possible even when ambient temperature of a light emitting unit varies. <P>SOLUTION: The smoke detector is provided with a body case, the light emitting unit for emitting light to a detection space within the body case; a light receiving unit for receiving scattered light of light from the light emitting unit caused by smoke entered within the detection space; a control unit for making a light emitted into the detection space by controlling the light emitting unit and for determining the smoke to be entered within the detection space when an output from the light receiving unit at this time is not less than a smoke detection threshold value; a temperature detecting unit for detecting ambient temperature of the light emitting unit; and an adjustment information storing unit for storing adjustment information which is the adjustment information relating to the ambient temperature of the light emitting unit and corresponding to individual difference of the light emitting unit, wherein the control unit performs correction of the smoke detection threshold value based on a detection result of the temperature detecting unit and the adjustment information stored in the adjustment information storing unit. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
