PURPOSE: An electric power inverter and a switching control and driving method are provided to reduce the noise by restricting the current applied to the switch. CONSTITUTION: A power supply unit comprises a first switch having the primary coil of transformer, the control electrode, the first electrode, and the second electrode. An output unit comprises the secondary coil of transformer. The output unit outputs the output voltage transformed by the transformer. The switching controller(300) is provided with the sensing voltage corresponding to the switch current. The switching controller transfers control signals to the control electrode of the first switch. The switching controller comprises the comparators(310,320), the volume control IC(330), resistance, diode, and current source and gate signal generator(340).
