COMMUNICATION SYSTEM OF USING CARRIER AGGREGATION AND BASE STATION AND TERMINL INCLUDED IN THE COMMUNICATION SYSTEM

PURPOSE: A communication system using carrier aggregation and a base station and terminal included in the communication system are provided to offer the high compatibility by serving existing terminals for the communications system which does not use the carrier collection. CONSTITUTION: A common element carrier specification unit designates the frequency band for the first and second type terminal as down-ink and uplink common element carrier. An exclusive element carrier specification unit designates the frequency band for the terminal as downlink and uplink exclusive element carrier. A broadcasting information transfer unit uses the downlink common element carrier to transmit the common broadcast information for the first and second type terminal and the exclusive broadcast information for the second type terminal. An element carrier pointer transmission unit transmits semi-static or the dynamic element carrier pointer directing the element carriers used in the second type terminal and the base station.
