PURPOSE: A method and an apparatus for manufacturing a welded wire mesh are provided to selectively arrange multiple horizontal wires on vertical wires and to diversify the arrangement intervals of the horizontal wires. CONSTITUTION: A method for manufacturing a welded wire mesh comprises the steps of: drawing vertical wires under the control of a control unit, arranging main horizontal wires perpendicular to the vertical wires, and electro-welding the main horizontal wires and the vertical wires(S310); drawing vertical wires under the control of the control unit, arranging sub horizontal wires perpendicular to the vertical wires, and electro-welding the sub horizontal wires and the vertical wires(S320); comparing the number of the welded sub horizontal wires with the number input to the control unit, repeating the sub horizontal wire electro-plating step if the numbers are different, and performing the main horizontal wire electro-plating step if the numbers are the same(S330); and finishing the manufacture and initializing(S350).
