PURPOSE: A bill recycling machine of an automatic teller machine and an operating method thereof are provided to reduce manufacturing costs by compactly forming a receiving space using a transfer path between a recycle box and a reject box. CONSTITUTION: A reception unit(110) discharges and injects the paper money. A discrimination unit(120) recognizes and discriminates the paper money. A plurality of recycling boxes(130) receives the deposited paper money according to the kind of the paper money and separates and discharges the paper money in a withdrawal. A temporary receiver(140) temporarily receives the deposited paper money until the transaction is completed. A reject box(160) collects and storages the damaged paper money or overlapped paper money from the recycling box. A transfer path(171,172,173) is connected to each element for transferring the paper money. |
