ADDITIVE COMPOSITION FOR A WATER RETAINABLE PAVEMENT

PURPOSE: An additive composition for water retainable pavement is provided to facilitate water and electric wave diffusion using activated carbon, sepiolite, super absorbent resin and fiber. CONSTITUTION: An additive composition for water retainable pavement comprises activated carbon, sepiolite, super absorbent resin and fiber. The maximum moisture holding capacity is 4.0kg/m^2 or more. The activated carbon has 900-1500m^2/g of specific surface area and is included in 10-60 weight%. The sepiolite is a porous fiber inorganic material with specific surface area of 230-380m^2/g.
