METHOD FOR EFFICIENTLY PRODUCING INTERSPECIES AVIAN GERMLINE CHIMERA AND TRANSGENICS

PURPOSE: A method for preparing germline chimera of interspecies birds is provided to obtain transformed bird with high efficiency and preserve endangerd birds. CONSTITUTION: A method for preparing germline chimera of interspecies birds comprises: a step of preparing germ cells of a donor bird; a step or transplanting the germ cells to a embryo of a receptor bird; and a step of culturing the egg and hatching. A method for preparing a transformed bird comprises: a step of preparing germ cells of a donor bird; a step of transferring a foreign gene to the germ cell of the donor bird; a step of transplanting the tranferred germ cells to the embryo of a receptor bird; and a step of culturing the embryo and hatching.
