TURBOCHARGER WITH VARIABLE NOZZLE DEVICE

PURPOSE: A turbo charger equipped with a variable nozzle device is provided to prevent a retainer ring and a turbine housing from being contacted to each other. CONSTITUTION: A bearing housing(20) is installed between a compressor housing(16) and a turbine housing(24). An insert(52) is installed between the bearing housing and the turbine housing. The insert comprises a tubular unit(54) and a nozzle unit(56). The tubular unit is installed on the inner side of an outlet(32) of the turbine housing. The nozzle unit is expanded from an end of the tubular unit in the radius direction. The nozzle unit is arranged in an axial direction and a plurality of veins(34) are installed between a nozzle ring(38) and nozzle unit. A retainer ring(64) of the cyclic type is installed on the bearing housing and fixes a hoop(66) and the nozzle ring.
