PURPOSE: A method of processing a video signal is provided to perform the coding of a video signal efficiently by removing a spatial redundancy through a DC conversion or Hadmamard transform. CONSTITUTION: A DC(Direct Current) transform coefficient of a current macro block and the partition information of the DC component block are obtained. Based on the partition information of the DC component block, the conversion size information for each partition of the DC component block is obtained. Based on the conversion size information of the DC component block, the inversion DC conversion or Hadamard transform is performed. An inverse quantization is performed for the conversion result value and the AC component. Through the inverse DC conversion for the inverse quantization operation values, a residual block is restored.
