<p>PURPOSE: A scanning apparatus and an image forming apparatus including the same are provided to prevent a safety accident by restricting the separation of a hinge unit from a hinge acceptance unit through a movement restriction unit. CONSTITUTION: A body unit(120) includes a scanning unit(160), and a cover(110) opens and closes the upper plane of the body. The cover rotates with respect to the body, and hinge units(130a,130b) are prepared in the cover or the cover. Hinge acceptance units(140a,140b) are prepared at the body or the cover. The hinge acceptance unit accepts the hinge units, and movement restricting units(151,153) are prepared at the hinge unit or the hinge acceptance unit. The movement restriction unit restricts the vertical elevation of the cover.</p> |
