PURPOSE: A flexible stabilization device including a rod and a tool for manufacturing the rod are provided to extend the abrasion resistance of the rod by reducing the abrasion of the elastomeric material according to the grinding of the bending rod surface of the inner side of the rigidity receiving part. CONSTITUTION: Two or more bone fixing devices(20) are attached to the backbone. A flexible stabilization device interlinks bone fixing devices. The flexible stabilization device comprises the flexibility rod(10) made of elastomeric material. One or more first groove(12) is formed in the surface of the flexible rod. The flexible rod is generated by disuniting a part of the elastomeric material. The first groove has the flat part upon the bottom surface. The second groove(12') is formed inside the surface. The second groove has the flat part in the bottom surface.
