TEMPERATURE SENSOR CIRCUIT WITH CALIBRATION FUNCTION FOR PROCESS VARIATION AND METHOD THEREOF

PURPOSE: A temperature sensor circuit with a correction function on a process drift and a method thereof are provided to improve accuracy of sensing temperature even in case of manufacturing process change despite occupying a small circuit size. CONSTITUTION: A temperature sensor circuit comprises an offset correction part and an output span correction part. The offset correction part produces voltage(VTU) which is tuned by amplifying reference temperature voltage(VREF) with variable gain. The output span correction part produces output voltage corresponding to the ambient temperature by comparing the produced sensing temperature output voltage(Vout) with the tuned voltage. The offset correction part corrects the offset at sensing start temperature on the output voltage.
