Porous composite material (I) comprises a porous refractory inorganic oxide based support having a content of zeolite crystals of less than 25 mass%, where the crystals are homogeneously dispersed in the pores of the support, the distribution coefficient of structural elements X and Y1 of zeolite, measured by Castaing microprobe of 0.75-1.25, and the total pore volume of the final composite material is at least 40% of the total pore volume of initial support and the average diameter of (I) is at least 50% of the average pore diameter of initial support. X : Si and/or Ge; and Y1 : at least one element of Al, Fe, Ga or B. An independent claim is included for the preparation of (I) comprising: (a) impregnating a porous refractory inorganic oxide based support with a mixture of zeolitic precursors containing one or more sources of structural elements of X and Y1, and mineralizing agent and a structuring agent, until the volume of porous anhydrous, impregnated support is at least 40% of volume of porous initial support and the average pore diameter is at least 50% of the average pore diameter of the initial support; and (b) hydrothermally treating the impregnated support and crystallizing the zeolite in the pores of the support without the additional structural elements X and Y1.</p> |
