<p>The extension (30) has an annular connecting downstream end forming an annular groove open radially towards outside to receive nacelle covers. The annular connecting downstream end is formed by multiple angular sectors along circumferential direction, where the angular sectors is greater than or equal to three. A joining shell is secured to the angular sectors and situated upstream of the angular sectors to extend a downstream end of an external shell (23) of an intermediate casing (21). The angular sectors are mounted by screwing on the joint shell. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a jet engine for an aircraft, comprising an intermediate casing extension equipped at a downstream end external shell (2) a propulsion assembly comprising a jet engine and a nacelle.</p> |
