PURPOSE: A polynucleotide containing single nucleotide polymorphism(SNP) derived from PCMT1(protein L-isoaspartate O-methyltransferase) gene is provided to use as a marker of clinical diagnosis of premature menopause. CONSTITUTION: A polynucleotide containing single nucleotide polymorphism(SNP) derived from PCMT1 gene comprises: 10 or more DNA sequences having 201th base(polymorphism site) which is A in sequence number 1; a 10 or more DNA sequences having 301th base which is A in sequence number 2 10 or more DNA sequences having 401th base which is G in sequence number 3; or 10 or more DNA sequences having 301th base which is A in sequence number 4.
