<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the mobile terminal unit for being operated from a remote position without using a remote control device. <P>SOLUTION: The mobile phone terminal (mobile terminal unit) 1 includes a motion detection portion 11, a motion definition strage portion 12, a motion determination unit 13, and a television reception control portion 14. The motion detection portion detects a motion of a figure from a moving image photographed with a camera 101. The motion determination unit determines whether the motion detected by the motion detection unit 11 is in agreement with any motion registered at the motion definition storage portion beforehand.
