PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow a data processor to select an appropriate acquisition method when the data processor obtains data to be processed. SOLUTION: A user terminal 40 being a data processor is connected to a storage server 10 through a communication network 30 to obtain a file to be processed from the storage server 10. Upon acquiring the file to be processed, the user terminal 40 selects whether to continuously occupy at least a portion of a communication band usable in the user terminal 40 or whether to adaptively use a communication band in an idle state at that time and obtain the file in accordance with contents of the file or a state of the user terminal 40.
